Berseydale kennels are situated in Malta, an island forming part of an archipelago of five small islands, called the Maltese Islands. We are located in the centre of the Mediterranean Sea. Bersydale kennels are directed by my wife Maria and myself, Duncan.

Our vision is to breed healthy and intelligent pointers, with sound temperament and are fit for purpose. Whilst breeding, we focus mainly to produce keen hunters which have quality and type that can excel in the show ring.

Our pointers are trained on daily basis and work on quail, woodcock and occcasionally on snipe during our local seasons. Our latest achievements include numerous awards in the show ring at local and foreign championship shows, moslty under FCI judges.

We are very proud of the breed and of course of our dogs and we believe that our puppies deserve to have approved and dedicated homes. We take lot of care in selecting the owners of our precious puppies. The breed has come a long way to what we know it today and deserves a lot of respect, therefore when breeding we select sound and appropriate subjects to honour and preserve the breed standard and in the same way manifesting a breed type.

Pointers make wonderful pets and love to be around human beings, especially children. They also like to please their owners and can make a lovable pet. Our pointers are kept as hunting companions and show dogs. They love doing what they are bred for, that is hunting and showing.

Once again Berseydale Pointers has dominated the breed this weekend at the April FCI CAC Championship Show with Luna winning BOB and Zen winning Best Opposite Sex. Thanks to the judge, Mr Luis Catalan for thinking so highly of our dogs. More details in the news page
